Brian’s experience as a contracts manager and as a commercial litigator has provided him with the insight required to effectively negotiate and document business contracts. Brian is sensitive to the goals of the client, the party sitting on the other side of the table, the personalities involved, the leverage each party has over the other, and a host of other factors when negotiating and documenting a contract.

Conflicts in the negotiation process should be disarmed with creative solutions rather than “take it or leave it” attitudes.

In the end, the client should be pleased to have a contract that protects the client’s interests, and saves the business deal rather than suffer through a process that loses the business sought, and which ends with a contract fraught with risk.
